Feast your eyes on the fabled combination that won the 2006 Engine Masters Challenge! A World Products 9.5 deck Man’OWar iron block married to a set of CHI 3V 213 Cleveland-style heads and topped with a matching-port World/CHI Man O’War aluminum intake.
The specs are a Ford Fanatic’s dream! Bulletproof Man O’War 460 cubic inch Windsor block filled with a forged Eagle crank and rods, ATI/SFI balancer, Mahle/Manley forged aluminum pistons, Hardcore solid roller cam and Melling oil pump. Up top are the famous CHI Australian 3V 213cc runner, canted-valve heads. With their raised intake ports, they flow a fantastic 340 cfm, with enormous velocity raising the “low-lift” numbers to provide a torque monster. They are matched with the Man O’War/CHI raised-port intake and topped by a 4500 Dominator assembled by AED to Bill Mitchell specs.
Now here's some really big news. With the available Aluminum block option, how about a total weight of 405 lbs ? This much power and beauty and only 405lbs! OK, so what about the power? Glad you asked. An easy 625HP from 5600 to 6000. Torque? How about 580 lb ft at 3600 RPM, peaking at 610 lb ft at 4300. This happens at 11 :1 compression on 91 octane pump gas-and because it’s assembled by the Bill Mitchell Engine Shop, it’s dyno tested and comes with a two year warranty.
This beautiful engine would showcase a street rod, vintage Mustang, Fairlane or Galaxy or make a killer Fox-body racecar.
